Phone Calls, Prayers, or The Weather
Sculpture Gardens (previously on CWR)
The Art Museums released one of my favorite LPs from last year, Rough Frame, and they're back with the release of a new three track EP, 'Dancing With A Hole In Your Heart,' June 28 on Slumberland Records (pre-order). If physical, tangible items aren't your thing you can download the whole
thing at their Bandcamp. The hazy harmonies still abound in their sound that jangle you all the way to a state of happiness. It sounds exactly like what you'd expect a San Francisco band to sound like...especially in the summer of love. Even if you didn't live through it, their sound makes you feel as if you're right there in the thick of it. Check it out firsthand by listening to the new EPs fantastic a-side, 'Dancing With A Hole In Your Heart' (video below), and the digital exclusive, 'Phone Calls, Prayers, or The Weather' (not available on EP). Then, reminisce with more wonderfulness in 'Sculpture Gardens' from last year's Rough Frame LP.
