L.A. stalwarts, Corners, just released their new LP Maxed Out On Distractions and hopefully you were lucky enough to catch the record release show last week with the great (and also L.A. residents) Mr. Elevator & The Brain Hotel, Froth, and Wyatt Blair.  This LP branches out quite a bit from their earlier garage sounding releases in exchange for some fantastic 80's sounding post-punk and new wave.
