[on repeat] MAGPIES EYES by Sea Pinks

The fourth LP has arrived! After being pleasantly surprised with the great Exploded View EP in late 2013, Dreaming Tracks, the new LP from Sea Pinks has made its way to us on CF Records.  These guys really put out some of the finest jangle pop out there and this LP packaging is quite impressive. Check it out and get yourself a copy.

DREAM HAPPENING by Sea Pinks

Girls Names' former drummer officially left the band a while back to focus on then side project Sea Pinks and there's some great news about a third LP from Sea Pinks that will be out on September 29 from CF Records.  'Dream Happening' is the first track to be featured from the Dreaming Tracks LP. Unfortunately, no pre-order yet.  And, if you haven't already heard the band's sold-out Exploded View EP from late last year, it is filled with four uplifting gems worth listening to over and over and over again.

Peripheral Vision (previously on CWR)

Some of you may remember Sea Pinks, which is the side project of the drummer for Ireland's Girls Names.  Sea Pinks focuses on the same jangly, surf inspired sound, but with a simpler, sunnier disposition than Girls Names layered, a bit grayer sound.  Sea Pinks second LP, Dead Seas, came out in the U.S. yesterday on CF Records and

PERIPHERAL VISION by Sea Pinks

Sea Pinks is a side project from the drummer for Ireland’s Girls Names who have been featured on here before.  Here he channels similar influences (indiepop, 60s, garage) with a little sunnier disposition.  He released a couple cassette singles and then put together a full band to re-record some of
