The Fresh & Onlys' lead guitarist, Wymond Miles, has a forthcoming debut solo LP, Under The Pale Moon, which is out on June 12 from Sacred Bones Records.  It follows up his EP, Earth Has Doors, from earlier this year.  Take a listen to the track 'Pale Moon' off the LP and catch him during his brief west coast tour on May 10th at The Echo where he will be opening up for Lotus Plaza (tickets).

San Francisco's The Fresh & Onlys are back with a fantastic new single, 'I Would Not Know The Devil' to be released September 5th as part of the Sexbeat singles series. On this tune they've returned to a more upbeat tempo than what was featured on the elegantly moodier Secret Walls EP released earlier this year. I've harped on this before, but the frequency, quantity, and quality of releases from these guys is simply mind boggling (3 LPs, 3 EPs, and a number of self-standing 7"s since 2009).

If my memory serves correct there's been 3 LPs, 3 EPs, and a slew of 7"s of songs that aren't on any of the previously mentioned LPs/EPs since 2009.  You can verify my numbers here. it's taken me a while to get around to posting about the fresh & onlys latest LP play it strange which came out in october on in the red records.  the last time they were featured on here it was to promote a track off their six track EP, august in my mind, released earlier this year.  they followed it up with...

let's bring it back to the best coast (no, not THAT best coast...yet).  this san francisco band has too many releases over the past few years on various different labels to even try to get a good explanation of.  nevertheless, i believe we have a 6-track lp coming out this summer.
