According to the fine folks over at Get Bent, the frontman for Texas' Fungi Girls, Jacob Bruce, has recorded this breezy demo of jangly rock under the name Vacations.  This tune is all we have for now, but Jacob has said that he's working on an album...no real details as of yet.  If you're familiar with Fungi Girls you can recognize the familiar vocal style, but the thrashing psych/garage element of Fungi Girls has been exchanged for a much dreamier take on things with 'Purple Slumber.'  Who knows where or how this sound will develop, but it's definitely worth staying on top of his Facebook for more details.  Lets take this opportunity to look back and
