Long Long Thoughts
The Resonars are out of Arizona and have released four quietly exceptional LP's since 1998. Upon listening, it's very easy to think that they are straight out of some old dusty record bin, but one surprising catch is that 'they' are not a 'they'...the band is made up of one person, Matt Rendon, who is responsible for playing all the instruments and singing every
single note of the vocals and layered harmonies in the songs. You'll find it even more impressing when you have a listen to the authentic, analog 50's/60's psychedelic garage sound that he brings to all of his recordings. His new EP, Long Long Thoughts, was released March 26 from Trouble In Mind Records (buy) and his first release in three years. Two of the four tracks on the EP are ready for enjoyment above.
