Corners are a four-piece right here out of Los Angeles that are as of yet still unsigned, but it's still early on for them and from listening to their Beyond Way EP it shouldn't last too long. The songs 'Sometimes' and 'The Greatest' have made their way around the internet for a few months now and have been getting regular rotation in our radio stream during that time, but the whole EP is up at their Bandcamp now, which includes an

The Bandcamp tags include 'surf' and 'pop,' but I think you'll agree after listening to these two songs that those tags are a much lighter representation of the wonderfully thrashing, burn of of their sound that includes some wailing vocals, complete drum bashings, and guitar licks that could be plucked out of a good old-fashioned western scene. They will be at Dillon's Roadhouse tomorrow for a free show that includes Dengue Fever and The Soft Pack. The show is part of Moon Block Party's Desert Daze festival, which lasts 11 days, is FREE, and features other bands like The Fresh & Onlys, Here We Go Magic, Akron/Family, Bleached, Young Prisms, and plenty more.
