Abducted
First off, stream the new Cults' album in its entirety over at NPR. It sounds like some of the oldies have been tinkered with a bit, but it could just be past my bedtime.
Secondly, another Cults track, 'Make Time', has surfaced, but this one isn't on their debut LP to be released May 31 in
Europe and June 7 in the U.S. (pre-order). I can't say that this one veers very far away from any of their previous releases with handclaps and the breezy 60s nostalgia, but with not nearly as much appeal. It’s not available in the U.S., but you can apparently get it from the Irish iTunes store. You're probably better off listening to the catchy as all hell 'Abducted' to make up for it.
You can catch them performing in town on July 26 at the Mondrian (email for reservations), July 27th at The Echo (tickets) and July 28 at the Eagle Rock Center for the Arts w/ Guards (tickets).
