It Goes Down
San Diego's Tape Deck Mountain released their Secret Serf EP earlier this year on Lefse. 'Kellies' is a new single that isn't on the EP, but its catchy gritty, hypnotic psych sound deserves notice. Right now it's only available on a limited cassette release sold on their tour. You can grab a copy
and see them with Woodsman at The Echo on June 2 ($8 tickets). Or, you can download the song for free here, but be sure to check out their other stuff at their Bandcamp. 'It Goes Down' is a lovely, swirly tune that would make Slowdive proud.
