Any of you familiar with Exploding Hearts are aware of King Louie's exceptional songwriting abilities. Missing Monuments is his current outlet for unleashing his blend of catchy, sharp, guitar driven power pop. Missing Monuments has recently released the (I'm Gonna) Love You Back To Life 7" EP. It's the band's second 7" release to follow up 2011's Douchemaster
LP, and it's their first with HoZac Records. It's some tight knit pop with no fancy gimmicks and the title track leads things off with a nostalgic sounding tune loaded with jangly guitar work and the happiest of hooks. 'Another Girl' is the real standout on the release that immediately gets you going with its charging guitar licks, crafty hooks, and a chorus that's simply impossible not to want to sing along with.
