Woollen Kits are another jangly masterpiece out of Melbourne, Australia that popped up into my world at the start of 2012 with their comforting and harmonious blend of lo-fi rock on their self-titled debut released on RIP Society Records. In some rather unexpected news, the trio are releasing their second full-length this year and it's more of the sensational
uncomplicated melodies and soothing craftsmanship that embodied the debut release and the subsequent 'Shelley' 7" on Trouble In Mind Records this past summer (buy). The follow-up LP is named Four Girls after four ladies that each have their own track on the record, Cheryl, Susannah, Sandra, and Shelley. Trouble In Mind is co-releasing Four Girls with a domestic date of November 13. You can grab yourself a copy of this quality release here, and two tracks off the new LP are available above. Hopefully they also head out on another courageous trek across the U.S. soon to support it.
