It's a pretty impressive feat to put out a debut full-length release that is stacked from beginning to end with a seemingly effortless solid and consistent set of tunes. It gets even more impressive when you realize the release has 16 tracks on it! Legendary Wings have done just that in their debut LP, Making Paper Roses, out on Dirtnap Records. They
were signed to Dirtnap after sending the label an unsolicited demo tape, which is further evidence that this shit is just straight up that good. Making Paper Roses is chock full of catchy, lo-fi, frenzied garage style punk that crunches along with classic elements of surf rock, 90's college rock, and plenty of today's attitude. The Kalamazoo, Michigan trio demonstrate their knack for catchy hooks and loose, carefree qualities in the tunes 'Spacehead' and 'I Think I'm Dumb' above. This is a record that needs to be in your collection and you can get it now at Dirtnap's Store...first 200 on gold vinyl.
