Atlanta four-piece have pretty consistently put out some of the most lightheartedly menacing blend of post-punk in their six years together, which was fully realized in last year's LP Larceny and Old Lace from Suicide Squeeze Records. The LP has been repressed on clear vinyl (buy) and the girls have given us a new release this year in the form of a split 7" with
Nashville's Heavy Cream to take with them on their upcoming tour. The split came out October 2nd from Suicide Squeeze Records and is now sold out. Both tracks available for you to listen to above. The Coathangers are starting their small tour tomorrow, but unfortunately nothing is scheduled locally.
