I (Heart) You Tonight (by Bare Wires)
Matthew Melton (former frontman of Bare Wires) didn't waste much time putting together a new band, Warm Soda, after the Bare Wires announcement of a breakup a few weeks ago. Fans of Oakland's Bare Wires shouldn't be too disappointed about the breakup anymore when they hear the new track, 'Reaction,' that Warm Soda has made public. It contains all the catchy, power pop goodness that we grew to love from Bare Wires with a 70's sheen and guitar licking that is hard to resist. The track will be included on their upcoming 7" from
the Oakland label Southpaw Records. Warm Soda will be playing its first show tonight in San Francisco, and the folks here in Los Angeles will get an early taste of the band as well as part of Get Bent's 1-year anniversary party this Friday, May 18 at The Blue Star Cafe, which features local acts that include the likes of Pangea...should be fun.
