Going Under
Triptides are out of Indiana and they record breezy, retro surf pop. They have released a few digital and limited edition (now sold out) cassette LPs on their Bandcamp and through Beachtapes Records since 2010. The most recent, Psychic Summer, came out in July of last year from Beachtapes and features the catchy, 60s inspired tune 'Going Under.' The folks over at Croque Macadam Records in France wisely
snatched up this tune for a 7" release (buy) with 'Outlaw,' which is also on Psychic Summer. The band also just released another bit of sunshine in the form of a brand new song 'Couch Surfer,' which you can stream above and pick up at their Bandcamp along with all of their other releases. There's news of a tour across the U.S., but no dates as of yet. Don't miss out on the 7" from Croque Macadam because they will sell out...it's a steal (buy).
