Jellyyyyyyyyyyy
Besides having one of the best band names I've heard in a while, Grandma's Boyfriend come to you from San Francisco and play some nervy, straightforward, 70's style power pop. 'Murdered On The Way' highlights the consistent collection of 6 tunes included on their self-titled 7" EP that came out April 1 from Loglady Records that is about “getting killed and lost love and girls that just take things too far.” Stay focused
when you listen to the EP because if your mind roams you may miss it...only one song clocks in at barely over 2 minutes long...the way a good pop thrashing should be. You can stream/download the EP in its entirety over at their Bandcamp, or pick up a physical copy for your collection at the Loglady store. If you like what you hear, you may so be inclined to pick up their 9-song cassette from last year, I Want Pizza...that's where you'll find 'Jellyyyyyyyyyyyy.'
