Hozac Records is gearing up for another round of releases later this month. The first of the batch I'm sharing is the debut LP, This Looks Serious, from the Austin trio Rayon Beach. The record consistently delivers a scuzzy, spacey blend of dizzying rock that will charge you with its steady throbbing of high voltage sounds. Some might say that they have been searching for their sound on the previous two 7"'s
and EP release over the past couple of years, but they are clearly well settled in on This Looks Serious. Catch a dose of the razor sharpness with two of the tracks off the LP above. The record is released on May 29 on limited edition gold viny and the regular black stuff (buy), but it's also part of the 2 LP, 4 seven-inch, Spring 2012 six-pack of releases, which includes Nice Face's new LP and Plateus' 7" (buy).
