A nice reader sent me some music suggestions last week out of the goodness of his heart (i.e. he has no affiliation with the bands or labels), and one of them from the band Collider has struck a chord with me. The San Fransisco group has released three previous EPs prior to the current single, 'Mono.' The single is a bombastic, but pleasant electronic
sound that successfully fills the space around it and isn't heavy on the glitch. The rest of their catalog seems to focus on the gaze-y college rock sound we loved from the 90's. All of their EPs as well as the new single are available for free at their Bandcamp.
