The London trio released the very enjoyable (and very overlooked) Nothing Hurts LP last year, and they aren't waiting around very long for their next output. Word has it that a sophomore release titled Endless Now is being finished up for an August 30, 2011, release and once again it's on Sub Pop. The band has given us a taste of what to expect in
'Bones,' which continues down the same ramshackle furious garage/punk sound, but with a little less of the lo-fi. Seeing that there wasn't a song that clocked over 2:45 on Nothing Hurts it's surprising that 'Bones' is over 6 minutes long, but regardless I say it's a positive sign of things to come and makes me look forward to the new record. At the same time, get acquainted (if you aren't already) with 'Your Contact' from last year's LP.
