Benjamin Lerner, who is the brains behind everything Telekinesis, had some pretty major setbacks after the first record so the forlorn lyrics on 12 Desperate Straight Lines don't come as a surprise, but he managed to keep the infectious energy and excitement in the fun, poppy music that serves as the casing to draw you in. 'Car Crash' is the first single off the new LP, and 'Please Ask For Help' is another highlight off the record.
