Quantum Leap
'Believer' is the second (and last) mastered track to be released to the public in preview of John Maus' third full-length, which is called We Must Become The Pitiless Censors of Ourselves and comes out on June 28th from Ribbon Music (pre-order). Most may know John from his
collaborations with Ariel Pink. Others probably don't know he was/is a political philosophy and theory Professor at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. 'Quantum Leap,' also off the upcoming LP was released to the interweb in early March. There's a clear nostalgia for the 80's going on in the sound. He'll be headlining a show at The Echo on May 13 (tickets) with openers Holy Shit and the inexplicable Geneva Jacuzzi.
