Carrying the Torch - (previously on CWR)
One of Chromewavesradio's favorite bands to bounce around to has released a song to the internet that will be on its upcoming LP. New Orleans' Generationals new song, 'Greenleaf' will be included on the upcoming LP, Actor-Caster, which is due out on March 29 from Park the Van records. This song isn't quite as catchy as anything off the
Trust EP from last year, but it does nothing to lessen my anticipation for the new record. It has some jangly piano and handclapping to keep you entertained...check it out for yourself above along with 'Carrying the Torch' from the Trust EP, which was posted here previously and is BY FAR the most downloaded mp3 from Chromewavesradio. The title track from the EP was also featured here last year as well. If you're in LA you'll have two chances to catch them live next week. They will be at the wonderfully beautiful and intimate Hotel Cafe on Wednesday, 2/16. It's an early show (7:00 p.m.) so don't be late (tickets). They will also be at Satellite (formerly Spaceland) with Minks on Thursday 2/17 to open for Shadow Shadow Shade (tickets). I know Minks and Generationals...should I know Shadow Shadow Shade?
