Open Season
Late last year New York's High Highs made an impression over the interweb with their pleasant, folky pop track 'Open Season.' Now they've released the tune 'Flowers Bloom' into the world that trades the guitars for more synth and evokes a more dreamy mood. Simply put...it's quite gorgeous. I like
the differences in the two songs because it's promising for when they release a full-length, which at this time is sometime in 2011 (pretty clear, huh?). Both songs are available above, as well as at their Bandcamp for free. Their Bandcamp also features a lovely cover of Wild Nothing's 'Live in Dreams.' They'll be at SXSW in March.
