Bad Design
San Francisco's garage/psychedelic power pop group The Mantles have a solid new EP, Pink Information (buy), out on Mexican Summer. They released their self-titled debut LP on Siltbreeze (buy) a couple years ago as well a single for 'Bad Design' on Slumberland. Check out 'Bad Design' and
the rocking lead off track, 'Cascades', from Pink Information above. You can also stream 'Lily Never Married'...another good vintage sounding song from Pink Information at the band's page on the Mexican Summer site.
