TURN BLUE by Bloods

A band name like 'Bloods' might conjure up some thrashy or gang-related imagery, but this trio out of Sydney, Australia manage to put together some angsty, lo-fi garage rock that fills you with the urge to bounce around joyously.  'Turn Blue' was released digitally on September 5 and is 'the 1.01 minute garage-punk-punch-in-the-face that opens their set.'  The
band's first vinyl release came out in May as a 7" and featured 'All The Things You Say Are Wrong,' as a b-side and served as a more straightforward blast of driving punk pop than what was found on vintage 50's style pop banger 'Goodnight' on the a-side, which, 'is an ode to first love, drunken house parties, and unwanted boobie grabs.'  Stream, listen, enjoy, dance, and buy their vinyl at their Bandcamp.
