Adult Books are a three-piece LA/OC outfit that has successfully (and not surprisingly) completely sold out of their debut 6-track self-titled cassette release. At this point, if you didn't get a copy of one you will have to settle for mp3s of this old school, new-wavish style of punk pop that will take every ounce of your energy to get out of your head long after you've
stopped listening (but will you really want to?). The cassette was released in the fall of last year from the local label Lolipop Records, whose stellar lineup is also worth checking out if you haven't already. In the meantime, take a listen to two of the sugary sweet, addictive tunes that make up this exceptional release above and then head over to their Bandcamp to hear just how great the rest of this collection is. They're regularly playing around L.A. and Orange County so keep an eye on their Facebook page for show announcements.
