Tim Presley has given us a wonderful psychedelic LP in each of the last two years with the self-titled debut as White Fence in 2010 and the 2011 follow-up Is Growing Faith in 2011. He's attempting to continue and surpass this output with a double-LP to be released in 2012 entitled Family Perfume and it will come in two separate volumes with the first on April 9 on Woodsist Records. absolute amazing warbly, sleazy take on the classic White Fence sound. Also, don't forget that in April we'll also be getting a collaboration LP, Hair, from Drag City Records featuring Tim and Ty Segall where Tim takes the bass and guitar duties and Ty will be on the drums and guitar. To coincide with these releases, both Ty and White Fence are taking off on a tour together with Thee Oh Sees and Mikal Cronin on various dates for some shows that should definitely not be missed. L.A. sees them coming to town with Ty, White Fence, Mikal Cronin, and The Feeling of Love on March 3 at the Troubadour ($12 tickets).
