Former Miko Mika sisters, Bleached, move from their promising two previous 7"s and closer to the release of their debut LP with the single 'Searching Through The Past.' Unfortunately the song isn't part of a full-length (yet?), but off yet another 7" set to be released December 6 (pre-order) from Suicide Squeeze Records. Regardless, it's a blissful indie pop tune that kinda reminds me of a modern day Go-Go's with its sing along qualities, but with some added grit (if that
makes any sense)...and it maintains the excitement for a debut LP from these L.A. ladies. There's plenty of opportunities coming up to catch them live. They will be back in town performing Nov. 13 with Black Lips at Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana ($20 tickets), Nov. 17 with Hunx and His Punx at The Echo ($8 tickets), Nov. 20 with Hunx and His Punx in Palm Springs, and Dec. 6 at the Bardot in Hollywood for KCRW's Back To School Night.
