Fishing With Robert (previously on CWR)
After a series of 7" singles, I've really been looking forward to an LP from Mississippi's Dead Gaze, but instead they are set to release a five-track, self-titled 10" EP on Group Tightener. I've spent a lot of time with the singles up to now in all their moody, fuzzy, psychedelic pop glory, but this new track, 'It's Not Real,' off the forthcoming EP, takes
this sound to a whole other level of beauty, which really makes it seem that Cole Furlow's getting a real knack in developing this sound into his own. This isn't the first time, and I'm sure it won't be the last time that you hear me gushing about them. Pre-order the EP here.
