King Of The Decade
Tim Presley has taken the 'trippy' factor to a whole new level on the first volume of the White Fence Family Perfume series being released this year from Woodsist Records. Volume 1 (pre-order) contains 14 tracks of psychedelia that contain an abundance of similarities from his first two LPs, but it's taken to a so much deeper and prettier place on many of the tunes. Take a listen to 'Do You Know Ida Know,' which is a
beautifully warbled, mellow love song with some haunting backing vocal effects and talk of tiger lilies, letting your hair down, and not rushing anything...it would have fit perfectly in the summer of love. It's not like anything else that you might be listening to at the moment, and White Fence isn't an easy listen for most, but the prize after actually sitting and enjoying regularly is all worth it in the end. Family Perfume Vol. 1 comes out April 3 and Volume 2 comes out on May 15. A double LP will be available this summer. 'Swagger Vets...' and 'It Will Never Be' from Volume 1 have already been shared prior to the LP's released, but also take a listen to 'King Of The Decade,' which is the closing track on Volume 2.

Lest I forget to mention that White Fence will be playing Burgerama this Saturday at the Observatory in Santa Ana with the likes of King Tuff, Ty Segall, Strange Boys, and plenty of others (tickets)...poster is below.
