Seattle's The Pharmacy released the Dig Your Grave EP (buy) in early February from Kind Turkey Records. The band has released three notable albums of moody, psychedelic garage pop in the past decade and the new EP is a glimpse of what's to come on their full length, Stoned & Alone, expected later this year from Park The Van Records. The title track storms through with some energy and an uplifting synth
accent that you may not be readily accustomed to from them, but its catchiness and hard hitting rage are hard to ignore. The maturity in sound and production also suits them extremely well. The flip side shows a mellower side with the guitar picking, sunny 'Pines,' a demo and an acoustic track. They are currently on a tour that sees them coming through L.A. on 3/24 at The Handbag Factory, 3/25 at The Standard Hotel, and 3/26 at a venue that is still listed as 'TBA' on their media page.
