Schonwald are an Italian duo signed to HoZac Records that will be unleashing their dark, hypnotic synth sounds to the world via their US debut 7" scheduled to be released on 3/26 (buy here soon). The release features two tracks, 'Mercurial' and 'Gemini' and both tunes are terrifying interstellar journeys into the electronic abyss with pulsing, sinister 80's synth/goth
beats that could easily soundtrack the eeriest 50's sci-fi thriller. 'Mercurial' is the driving A-side, and is the more upbeat of the two tracks, but it holds the same cold electronica qualities that carry both these tracks into a vortex where repeated listens just make you fall deeper and deeper into their traumatizing spell. You won't be disappointed with 'Gemini' and its moodier trek to the same destination. You can also here 'Moon' above, which isn't on the 7", but is available to stream at their Soundcloud.
