WROTE YOU A MELODY by Wildcat General Strike

Wildcat General Strike are an unsigned four piece out of Melbourne’s northside. Their music shines with melody evoking comparisons to indie pop icons such as The Cure and The Stone Roses with a   flare of pop rock elements and rawness more reminiscent of contemporary acts such as The Vaccines  and Libertines. The band released its debut EP
Nobody’s Got A Gun To Your Head in 2011 and immediately began to get noticed in Melbourne for their energetic live shows. The band’s latest release is the double A-side ‘Wrote You A Melody/Young Man’s Pride’ signaling a band hitting their straps and beginning to flourish with glowing reviews continuing to come in. Work on the next release is in progress and it's described as being more on the garage side of things so I'll be sure to keep you posted once there's news of a release and some new songs are available. If you happent to be in Melbourne then keep your eyes peeled for a show. Grab a digital copy of the two songs above over at their Bandcamp.
