Ghost Police
It's always fun to get excited about something new. New Animal is a duo out of Atlanta that appears to be another example of how the new model of music is changing for new musicians trying to enter the industry, and more proof of the power of the internet (i.e. Bandcamp). Their self-titled debut
has the qualities of a bedroom-recorded sound and meanders through lo-fi psych pop, chill, and kraut influences, but the quality and size of the songs is evident throughout virtually the entire record. It had been available on Bandcamp as a free download, but since Bandcamp now only allows 100 free downloads you can only stream it there. However, the band has placed a free download link on their new, under construction, band website. I posted two of my favorites above so if you like them be sure to make it over to their website and grab the rest of the tunes. I'll be listening to this one for a while.
