Miracle (previously on CWR)
After two infallible singles from Hozac over the past couple of years the anticipation for Chicago's Radar Eyes debut LP has been pretty high around these parts. The self-titled LP gets the vinyl and CD treatment courtesy of Hozac Records and it's expected to be out the first week of February (pre-order). The album hits right on by continuing their gaze-y 90's sound from the previous singles and managing to be anthemic,
dreamy, and harsh all at the same time. 'Miracle' is one of the previous singles exemplifying this sound on the LP. Then, just when you think you have them figured out, the album's closing track 'Side Of The Road' gives you a shift that you never expected, a dark, horrifying electronic journey that shows that they're capable of much more. There's plenty of fuzz, jangle, and swirly punk energy in this record that'll keep you interested for a while.
