Fool Moon
Favorite crazed Knoxville psych-rockers, COOLRUNNINGS, are following up last years wonderful LP, Dracula Is Only The Beginning, with a couple new singles released over the past few months that have surprisingly not gotten much attention. The 'Fool Moon' 7" was released last September from Too Pure Records and can be streamed, downloaded, and purchased with its B-side, 'Rusk,' from
their Bandcamp. 'The Fool' was posted on SoundCloud in October and is a slice of 80's synth heaven, but I can't seem to locate where you can download/purchase it. Listen to both of the 'Fool' songs above. I can't stress enough the fact that you should listen to Dracula Is Only The Beginning, if you haven't already. It's a true, quality, DIY effort put together by the creative multi-talent (and genuinely quirky) Brandon Ian Biondo that was released digitally on his own Dracula Horse label. After a successful Kickstarter project to release the record on vinyl (nearly a year after its digital release), it was eventually picked up for a proper distribution by Portugal's LebensStrasse Records where you can grab a copy if you weren't lucky enough to be part of the Kickstarter deal. The fact that it's still getting love so long after its initial release to the public is a testament in itself.
